Slamming Bacon and Baked Beans Party Dish

This slamming bacon and beans recipes will take 20 minutes to prep, 1 hour to bake, and yields 12 servings. This is a great dish to take to a Super Bowl party, social event, and backyard cookouts.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of rinsed and drained kidney beans (16oz)
  • 1 can of rinsed and drained butter beans (16oz)
  • 2 cans of undrained pork and beans (32oz)
  • 5 strips of bacon diced
  • 1/2 lb of ground beef
  • 1/2 cup of chopped onion
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder
  • 2 tablespoons of prepared mustard
  • 2 tablespoons of molasses
  • 1/4 cup of barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 1/3 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of ketchup

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cook the beef, bacon, and onions in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s no longer pink and drain.
  3. Stir in the ketchup, sugars, molasses, barbecue sauce, salt, mustard, and chili powder until it blends well.
  4. Stir in the beans and transfer it to a 2 1/2 qt baking dish and cover, then bake for 1 hour.
